Brenton Corns, and his 2001 Land Rover Discovery 2

Thank you for visiting the 4xFar Adventures website! If you are interested in taking your vehicle offroad on an overland adventure, you should have the right skills, tools, and knowledge to have fun AND stay safe. If you need assistance with trip planning for a quick day jaunt, or a 25 day adventure you've come to the right place. With proper training in a one-on-one, or small group setting, you will have the confidence to plan your own trip, tackle those difficult obstacles, get your vehicle unstuck, and promote the TREAD Lightly! principles.

You have come to the right place!

Hello, my name is Brenton Corns. With a decade of off road driving, recovery, and spotting experience (learned from some of the best instructors out there), I'm here to help prepare you for your next adventure. Safety is at the top of my priority list, for yourself, the friends in your group, and everyone else out on the trail.

But what do you do once you're out there? Taking on a leadership role can seem like a daunting task. However, with good planning and preparation, it can become something very rewarding and empowering that carries over to your daily life. Overcoming a seemingly impossible obstacle is a great confidence builder. If you're interested in learning any of these skills, send me an email. Together we can develop a lesson plan catered to your specific needs and skill level.

I served on the Board of Director's with the Northern California Land Rover Club (2008-2016) while concurrently serving as President (2013-2016). I became a TREAD Lightly! Tread Trainer in 2010. Starting in 2013, I became a member of Cal4 (California Assoc. of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs), and joined CORVA (California Off Road Vehicle Assoc.) in 2016. My last re-certification in Wilderness First Aid was January, 2017.

Thank you,
